Artist Alley at South Hill

So many exciting things have been happening these past few months! Jessa and I have moved in to the new studio space, Suite #37, at South Hill Business Campus. We have room to display our finished drawings and room to create and room to breathe. Plus room for a sweet lil’ mini fridge.

I’ve taken a step back from Facebook, so you can find art updates on my new studio Instagram account I share with Jessa: @harmonia.discordia (link below)

Open studio nights at Artist Alley will be every first and third Thursday of the month 5-8pm. There are about 18 artist studios that have been built with many more on the way, so we’re going to start organizing some events. Check out the Artist Alley at South Hill community Facebook page for current information. (link below)

I can’t wait to share with you!

Ursa Major

Ursa Major has slowly been taking shape above Ithaca downtown. On the 9th floor of the Seneca Street parking garage, with lots of help, I've been painting the sunset sky with the constellation as theme and challenge!

EPOCH

I just received my complimentary copies of EPOCH magazine. My chalk pastel drawing of Herne the Hunter was chosen for the cover of Volume 65, Number 1!
EPOCH is a Cornell University publication edited by faculty in the Department of English Program in Creative Writing.

Ursa Major

The City of Ithaca put out a call for artists to paint a mural in the Seneca Street parking Garage.

The Public Art Commission loved my mural proposal, and it was approved by the Common Council. So when the temperatures rise a bit, I'll start painting "Ursa Major" on wall "A."
